Peace Yarn Love
Welcome to Peace Yarn Love, Tanya has been creating and crocheting for years. Always looking for something to do and craft she started knitting at the age of 9. She would go to work with her father on Saturdays it was there she found yarn and two yellow number two pencils. With the help and guidence of two sweet sisters she started knitting with a bright red scratchy yarn and two yellow pencils. Tanyas grandmother immediately went into her large stash of yarn and knitting needles to put together a beautiful basket of her very own. Picking up and often putting down the knitting needles trying to figure out how to do things left handed while everone around her was right handed prolonged the knitting experience of more complex stitches. Discovering she was taken with crochet her mother went out and bought her every left handed crochet book she could get her hands on. Her mother Susan was, is, and always will be the encourager. Starting out when blankets were made with one end much longer than the other she would tell Tanya how beautiful they were. Susan would tell her to stick with it, eventually the blankets would come out with the same number of stitches on each end. Uneven and all her mother still loved those blankets. Every creative bone Tanya has she got from her mother who herself is an outstanding artist. Tanyas family has always been her inspiration. Her family has grown over the years. Her son is the apple of her eye. Her partner is her rock. Joe and Tanya live in yarn land with their Olde English Bulldogs and amazing children. Last and very far from least it is her grandfather that makes her reach for the stars. Bob has a way with a look or subtle comment that can speak words beyond measure. In every great venture of her life Grandpa is deeply rooted. Everything that Tanya creates is with much love, thought, and happiness. Thank you for taking the time and stopping by. If there is something special you would like made and you do not see here feel free to reach out! |
